Who we are

MacroRadar ("we", "us", "our") operates the website macroradar.io. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website.

What data we collect

We collect minimal data:

• Email address — only if you voluntarily subscribe to our macro updates via the email signup form.
• Basic analytics — page views, referral source, country, and device type. Collected via Vercel Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not track individual users across sessions.

We do not collect: names, payment information, browsing history, IP addresses for tracking purposes, or any data from third-party trackers.

How we use your data

• Email addresses are used solely to send you macro regime updates (monthly check-ins, quarterly reviews, and regime-shift alerts). We do not sell, share, or rent your email to third parties.
• Analytics data is used to understand which content is useful and to improve the website. It cannot be used to identify you personally.

Cookies

MacroRadar does not use cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking scripts. No cookie consent banner is needed because no cookies are set.

Data storage and security

Email addresses are stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database in the EU (West Europe region). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to the MacroRadar team.

Your rights

Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Rectification — correct any inaccurate data.
• Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Unsubscribe — every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us directly to be removed.

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate MacroRadar:

• Vercel — website hosting and cookie-free analytics (USA).
• Supabase — database hosting (EU West).

Both services have their own privacy policies and process data on our behalf under standard data processing agreements.

Data retention

We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, your email is removed within 30 days. Aggregated analytics data (which cannot identify you) is retained indefinitely.

Children

MacroRadar is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We will not materially reduce your rights without notice.
